Aleksandr Pasechnik	d6e064745f	set window title to the rom name if we can ... This is my attempt to read metadata and use it to set the title of the window. I am definitely not experienced in C, so please let me know if there is a better way to deal with buffers, strings, and the metadata data. There might be some opportunity to extract more metadata than just the first line and use that for other parts of the app. If there's a better data structure that we should use here, let me know! For example, there may be some way to turn an icon defined in the metadata into an application icon. Actually making and setting the icon is probably out of scope (does SDL2 even give us that sort of API?) but we might set ourselves up for success by reading more of the metadata now.	8 months ago

Aleksandr Pasechnik	eea4a5a3db	fix builds on macOS Catalina (10.15.7) ... The `_DARWIN_BETTER_REALPATH` flag fixes the file device reading directories. The colors change fixes an integer size error in the code below it. I have a few other quality of life commits on the `macbuild` branch of my git.sr.ht/~apiarian/uxn fork for more Mac convenience, but the probably don't belong in the main branch of uxn. Jonne Ransijn	bb08b4b7b5	Add bounds checking to `.System/expansion` commands ... Unchecked `.System/expansion` commands can cause segmentation faults. We should of course reject banks >= `RAM_PAGES`, but we also have to account for addresses pointing past the end of the (last) bank. For this, we have several options: - Clamp the address to the end of the memory. - Clamp the address to the end of the bank. - Wrap the address to stay in the same bank. I chose wrapping to make expansion banks easiest to implement on 16-bit machines and when memory banks are not contiguous. Wrapping is also how `STA` and `LDA` are implemented. Since out-of-bounds banks are now ignored. ROMs can write a byte to a memory bank and read it back to detect if the bank exists. This also fixes an unintuitive off-by-one in the `cpyr` command that caused the `system.expansion.tal` example to break.	9 months ago
